School Lunch Information
If your child has received free or reduced-price lunches, it is very important that you fill out the lunch form included in your child's back-to-school packet. Otherwise, you may have to pay full price for the lunches your child eats. Only one form per household is needed with all children's names listed.
School meal prices remain the same this school year. Regular priced breakfasts will cost $1.45. The cost of a regular priced lunch is $2.25 per meal. Reduced priced meals will be $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch. Whether your child qualifies for free, reduced, or full-priced meals, it is school policy to keep such information private.
If your child pays for his/her meals, we encourage you to pay in advance. A new method of payment is now available for those who prefer to use online services. Instructions for making online payments are included in your child’s back-to-school information packet. If you are not comfortable with making online transactions, payments can be made during breakfast or lunch when the lunch lady is in the cafeteria. She is also available in the high school office when meals are not being served.
To record lunch purchases, middle school students are issued a code, which they enter into a key pad when getting their meals. The code is shown on their schedules. If students forget their code, the lunch lady will be able to assist them.
