When Your Child Misses School...
Please contact the Middle School office at 223–7724 when your child misses part—or all—of a school day. Otherwise, a call may be made by a school employee. When students return, it is important that documentation, such as doctor’s excuses be given to the attendance secretary, Mrs. Huff. CMS Perfect Attendance Incentives
The following incentives have been developed to encourage student attendance: Perfect Attendance for 1st Quarter Perfect Attendance for 2nd Quarter Perfect Attendance for 3rd Quarter Perfect Attendance for 4th Quarter SIS Student 360 Parent/Student Portal & School Messenger
Parent Portal allows parent access to student information from the student database. Parent Portal is based on email information, so it is important that we have a current email address to activate the program. Only one form per household is needed. If you have previously signed up for Parent Portal and if your contact information has not changed since the last school year, this form does not need to be completed. School Messenger is an automated calling system that notifies parents regarding school closings and other important information. Once again, we must be sure that we have correct, current contacts in order to reach you. CMS Tiger Challenge
How often do we recognize those around us who do the right thing, day in and day out? That is the goal of the CMS Tiger Challenge. Students can qualify for Tiger Challenge activities, which are scheduled at the end of each semester, by meeting the following criteria:
Ms. Lora Yant is coordinator of the program. If you or your organization would like to contribute funding for this program, which recognizes our everyday heroes, contact her at 223-7724. *The principal reserves the right to add or remove names for eligibility at his/her discretion. |
